The truth about change encompasses everything especially people. People do ransform. There are, however, two ways in which you can look at this fact. Either you grow, or start to deteriorate. Sure it does sound alarming but it is true. Ideally, people are expected to expand their mind and grow in every aspect. Sad to say, however, that there are those who head into the opposite direction. While there are adventurous people who keep on exploring new activities and knowledge, there are also those who choose to remain in their seats. Surely, it is the secure way to avoid external risks and dangers, but definitely not the safest option for people internally. For, staying in a comfort zone leads to both physical and intellectual stagnance or worse even deterioration.
The tough question now is: "Where are you heading?" You have to be honest in answering this matter, yet it takes a lot of courage to do so. The important thing is that an honest admission of a bad habit becomes your spring to jump and advance. If you seek personal growth, then you have to take the initial steps. The first steps are always the most difficult to make. But the effort is worth it.
Now is not the time to judge or criticize your current lifestyle, but rather it is the moment to help yourself. If you believe that you continue to learn and grow in your habits, then that is great for you. Keep up the good work. Yet if you realize that you have intentionally or unintentionally remained at the same point, then you have a lot of changes to do.
Routine is significant especially when you are a very busy person. When you are the type of person who does multiple works or attends meetings within a day, then setting your priorities is a need and the safest decision for you. Yet if you start to feel like a robot, doing the same things each day at the same pace and schedule, you better do something about your routine. You do not need to totally changed it. Just be creative. Put accent to your daily tasks. You can interchanged a few schedules or you can try other work strategies sometimes. More importantly, you can change or add a few activities especially for the weekend. You can do other sports, start new hobbies, go out with your family and friends, visit other places or any other activitiy that is not only good for you but also for your wife and kids, if you are already a family man. In this way, you can work hard, but at the same time enjoy and appreciate what you do. In the end, your life grows and flourishes and your family as well.
