Aging is a natural process. Yet it is a reality that usually causes anxiety among men. When lines start to appear one's forehead, many immediately resort to all possible means of rejuvenating skin or generally "staying young." But what does being "young" really mean? What makes men young?
When it comes to coping with the aging process, the usual contributing factors that pop up are a stress free life, exercise, healthy diet, and the popular artificial solutions such as creams, injected medicines, and surgery. No doubt, all these prior options are helpful to men. However, being young is a state which transcends the physical aspect. Although a fresher face covers up old age, there are other ways in which one's real age shows. Men may lose all the lines and smoothen their face but when they begin to forget small details such as names of people, addresses etc, then that's a clear indication that old age has still won out.
The brain is the essential organ for truly living. Above the other anti-aging solutions, an alert and fully active brain still is the best expression and indication of true youthfulness. Of course the brain degenerates through time, but there are several things men can do in order to prevent their mind from deteriorating. Recreational acitivies help relax the mind and free it from stress. A healthy diet is also necessary. Men should always eat food that provide nutrients for the maintenance of brain. Almonds are found to provide an important nutrient for the brain. More than anything else, men should engage themselves in acitivities that stimulate and sharpen their minds. Aside from their work, they can do sports. These activities always keeps the mind alert. Finally, they can also play mentally stimulating games such as crosword puzzles, scrabble, chess, and others. After all, when physical appearance fails, a powerful mind remains as a good sign of being young.
